The only ones I possibly serve more than once every two months are Herbed Green Beans, Garlic Bread, and Parmesan Chicken. I like to experiment and I'm funny in the way if I make something everybody absolutely loves I won't make it again for awhile, just for the purpose that nobody gets sick of it. My Mom used to feed us our favorites until we got sick of it and then it'd be on to the next favorite to get sick of that too. Personally I don't like getting sick of my favorites, but some of these are sounding scrumptious.

My "signature" dishes have changed over the years, especially as my dietary rules have changed. My first signature dish was Salmon Quiche. Later my signature dishes became vegan brownies and chocolate chip cookies, and my vegetarian lasanana. Now I'd have to say:
1. Chicken Curry
2. A spicy Ground Beef and Zucchini Casserole served with mashed cauliflower
3. Brownstone soup
But it still changes pretty frequently. I'll get on a kick for a while, but then I get bored, and change my repitore up, and I love the execuse of guests or a party to try new things.

3. Homemade (extra-gooey extra-chocolatey) brownies.

Forgive me if this double-posts...I appear to be having some typepad issues.

Michele, I have to tell you what a HUGE help you've been to me and give you credit for your wonderful ideas. I teach English (as in, the language) in Prague, and sometimes it gets difficult to come up with unique and interesting icebreakers or conversation question. If I ask one more time, "What would you do if you won a million dollars?" one more time, I'll scream.
As I was preparing for new classes this week, I looked up and saw your site open on my laptop and realized you are FULL of interesting, unique, and clever ideas. Thank you for the inspiration, and I'm sure my students would thank you as well!!

I have one recipe that I'm expected to bring to family dinners, a corn bake cassarole.
But I'm mostly known for trying new recipes for pot lucks and work food days. I'm lucky and brave enough to try something for the first time, have it turn out well, and share it with everyone.
Out of probably 20-30 food days in the last several years, I don't think I've made the same thing twice.
(I'm working on a Jell-o aquarium this week)
So will any/all of us be posting our recipes on our own blogs?? I'm game!
